Ход урока.
I. Мобилизирующее начало урока.
1) Приветствие.
Good morning, pupils! Glad to see you! Who is absent today? What date is it today? What day of the week is it today? What is the weather like today?
2) Фонетическая зарядка.
We have an interesting topic for discussion today. But I’d like to begin our lesson with the poem. Try to learn this poem by heart. (проектор)
One, one, one-
Little dogs run.

Cats see you.

Birds on the tree.
Four, four, four-
Rats on the floor.
3) Сообщение темы и целей урока.
I think now you know the poem. It will help you to answer my question. What are we going to talk about today?
You are right. We’ll speak about the animals.
Today we’ll also swim in the ocean of knowledge. You’ll visit an island at the end of our lesson. What island? It will be a surprise.

Let’s visit the first island. It is a curious island.

II. Основной этап урока.
1. Развитие навыков устной речи.
It’s time to visit a clever island. (проектор)You’ll see different animals here. Tell us what they can and can’t do. № 2 p.78. Read the example, please.
2. Совершенствование навыков чтения.
Let’s speak about one more animal. We’ll read the text abut Chuckles. № 3 p.79. Now answer the questions. There is one more task for you. The words from the text are mixed up. Put them in the right order. There is one extra word in each sentence.
