Цель урока: способствовать формированию коммуникативной компетенции, в частности социокультурного компонента учащихся по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона и России»
Задачи:
1) обучающие:
- развитие лексических навыков по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона»;
- практика учащихся в устной речи, чтении (развитие умений изучающего чтения);
- практика монологической речи (пересказ тематического текста);
2) развивающие:
- развитие языковой догадки;
- развитие памяти, воображения;
- развитие навыка работы с информацией;
- расширить знания о стране изучаемого языка и о своей родной стране;
3) воспитательные:
- способствовать осознанию возможностей самореализации средствами иностранного языка;
- формирование интереса к изучению темы.

ХОД УРОКА
I.Организационный момент
- Good morning, children! Sit down, please. How are you?
– What is the date today?
– What is the day of the week today?
- What season is it now? What colour of it?
– What is the weather like today?
– Is it cold? Is it frosty? Is it warm? Is it windy?
– Ask your questions about the weather.
The topic of our lesson is "Busy spots in London”.
- Let’s read the motto of our lesson "It’s better to see something once thаn to hear about it a hundred times”. Please, give a Russian proverb to these words. ("Лучше один раз увидеть, чем сто раз услышать”). That’s why today at the lesson we’ll try to do so.
– Today we are going to learn more about London. As you know London is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It has a lot of interesting historical and modern places to visit. But first of all let’s see what you know about London.
