Good morning. I’m very glad to see you. How are you? Are you fine? It’s a fine day today, isn’t it?

Today we’ll have quite an unusual lesson. Do you like visiting different places, having fun with your parents and friends?

Now look at the pictures on the screen . What can you see? You can enjoy the beauty of our country, have a rest, have fun, learn something new and interesting visiting these places.

When is the best time to go there?

When do you usually go to the amusement park, theatre, circus? When do you visit your grandparents and relatives?

Can you name the topic of our lesson? Right you are. It’s: “My best day out.”

Now look at the plan of the lesson and tell me what we are going to speak about.

We’ll listen to the interview, play, read, speak about days out.

We’ll have a contest. We’ll work in groups. You’ll get a smile if your answer is true. And then we’ll see whose team is the best?

a) Think of the words referring to the topic ‘’Day out” beginning with these letters. Go to the blackboard, choose the letter, name some words beginning with it and stick the letter on the blackboard. Think of the word with these letters (circus)

Imagine you are in the country/The weather is getting warmer and warmer. There’s a river in the country. You like swimming, don’t you? But do you know that swimming is not always a safe activity? Let’s try to remember and memorize the main water safety rules.

WATER SAFETY RULES

1. Learn to swim well.

2. Don’t go swimming alone.

3. Don’t go swimming right after you have eaten.

4. Don’t jump into the water that is too cold.

5. Come into the water slowly.

6. Don’t be naughty in the water.

Now I see all of you have learnt the water safety rules. I hope you will keep safe while swimming. Follow these rules yourselves and teach them to your friends, little brothers, sisters and cousins.
