ДЛЯ ОБУЧАЮЩИХСЯ 7 КЛАССА

Цели и задачи урока: Слайд 2

- обобщить и систематизировать знания, полученные в ходе изучения темы «Are you a friend of the planet?»;

- развивать навыки аудирования, чтения и устной речи;

- воспитывать бережное отношение к окружающей среде.


Оборудование: магнитофон, аудиодиск, интерактивная доска, иллюстрации.

Ход урока:

1. Приветствие и организационный момент начала урока.

Today we will speak about nature: animals, plants, the atmosphere. We will think how to protect it, how to take care of it, we will speak about it’ s great role in our lives. Well, let us start our lesson with the song!

At the previous lesson you agreed that animals are the important part of our environment and we, people, must take care of them. Let us read and translate English proverbs, where we meet the names of animals and then let us think of their meaning. Don’t forget that any proverb contains wisdom. So, please repeat after me:


(Пословицы)

Never look a gift horse in the mouth.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

It is enough to make a cat laugh.

There is life in the old yet.

A wicked cow has short horns.


3. Речевая зарядка (обсуждение пословиц)

Teacher: Do you know any Russian proverbs with the same meaning. How do you translate the first proverb? Do you know the proverb: «Дареному коню…»

Pupil: «…в зубы не смотрят».

Teacher: Right you are. And what does it mean?

Pupil: When someone gives you a present for you birthday and you don’t like it you must not show it and you must say: «Thank you. It is nice».

Teacher:that's right. What about the second proverb?

Pupil:Perhaps it means “Лучше синица в руке, чем журавль в небе”.

Teacher: Yes, It is true. Look at the third proverb. Can cats laugh?

Pupil: Cats can't laugh at all.

Teacher: Of course. But the proverbs help us to be wiser and the Russian variant of this proverb is: "Курам на смех”. Do you agree?

Pupil:Yes, we do.

Teacher: Now,compare the meaning of the fourth proverb with the meaning of it's Russian equivalent: “Есть еще порох в пороховницах”.And the fifth proverb means:”Бодливой корове Бог рога не дает”- it is funny enough, is not it? Do you understand in what situation we can use these proverbs?

Pupil:Yes, we do.

Teacher: Did you hear these proverbs? Try to explain your answer.

Pupil: (For example). My grandfather’s favorite proverb is: “Есть еще порох в пороховницах”. He uses it to show everyone that he is not old.

Teacher: Thank you. I like your explanation.


4. Аудирование текста “What pets do Russians have?” Слайд 4

Most people in Russia love animals. A lot of them have got one pet or more, even in bi cities. One survey shows that 45 % of Russians have cats at home. People like cats – in Moscow there is famous Cat Theatre and it is always full. Dogs are popular too – 36 % of Russians have dogs and there are dog shows all over the country. The shows have prizes for different types of dogs. There is also a dog show programmer on TV. Wild birds were once very common pets in Russia. Many people had wild birds from the forest in their homes. They freed the birds in March and April every year to celebrate spring. Now only 12 % have birds as pets – these are mostly budgies. Goldfish are less popular now, too – only 4 % of Russians have them as pets. And 10 % of animal lovers have other pets. Some of these are small, friendly animals such as hamsters and rabbits. Others are dangerous or rare pets like spiders, for example.

5. Чтение и работа с текстом по теме "Загрязнение окружающей среды".(Текст в печатном виде раздается учащимся).Слайд 7

Environmental pollution.

People have always polluted their surroundings. But until now pollution was not such a serious problem. People lived in uncrowned rural areas and did not have pollution – causing machines. With the development of crowed industrial cities which put huge amounts of pollutants into small areas, the problem has become more important. Automobiles and other new inventions make pollution steadily worse. Since the late 1960’s people have become alarmed with the danger of pollution. Air, water, an soil are necessary for existence of all living things. But polluted air can cause illness, and even death. Polluted water kills fish and other marine life. On polluted soil, food can not be grown. In addition environmental pollution spoils the natural beauty of our planet. Pollution is as complicated as serious problem. Automobiles are polluting the air but they provide transportation for the people. Factories pollute the air and the water but they provide jobs for people and they produce necessary goods. Fertilizers and pesticides are important for growing croups but they can ruin soil. People must stop using many useful things if they want to stop pollution immediately. Most people do not want that of course. But scientists and engineers can find the ways to reduce pollution from automobiles and factories. Government can pass the laws that would make enterprisers take measures for reducing of pollution. People can work together to persuade enterprises to stop polluting activities
