ТЕМА УРОКА: «Встречаем зарубежных гостей» Дата: 25.11.14 Класс:6 «В»

Цель урока: Образовательная: формирование у учащихся иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции.

  • представлять себя зарубежному другу;

  • заполнять анкету друзей по переписке;

  • извлекать нужную информацию из мультимедийного объекта и обобщать её;

  • закрепление основных лексических единицы по теме урока и применяют их в различных лексико-грамматических упражнениях с использованием ИКТ;

  • применять учебные умения и навыки иноязычного общения в ролевой игре;

  • формирование умений и навыков информационной компетенции:

  • представление своей страны/ своего края в общении со сверстниками.

Развивающая: развитие языковой догадки при помощи средств родного и английского языка, памяти, внимания и логического мышления;

Воспитательная: формирование адекватного восприятия и отношения к образу жизни стран изучаемого языка, воспитание самостоятельности и вывод о роли иностранного языка в жизни человека.

Оборудование урока: компьютер, проектор, Интернет-ресурсы международного портала «Партнёрство в образовании», мультимедийный фильм “My Native Land”, компьютерный кабинет, презентация учащихся “My Native Land”, виды г. Рыбница, символы Российской Федерации, Великобритании, Приднестровья.

ХОД УРОКА

1. Организационный момент. Today we have unusual lesson. Have a look: our classroom is decorated with national flags, national symbols of different countries, we can see the portrait of our president.

We have the role game “Meeting the foreign friends”. All the guests received the invitations to our meeting «The birthday of our town».

Teacher: You should do and print different exercises, using a computer. Besides you will learn to represent yourself and our country.

Today we shall speak about our friends, the planet we live on, the continents, countries and nationalities. Today we have the representatives from different countries.

4. Речевая разминка.

Teacher: Well, we shall discuss your countries a little bit later. To begin with let’s talk about our planet and the bodies which are situated on it. Презентация, слайд №3/

  1. What is the name of the planet we live on?

  2. What will you be able to see if you look at the Earth from the space?

  3. How many oceans are there on our planet?

  4. How many continents are there on it? What are they?

  5. What separates the continents from each other?

  6. What is the largest country in the world?

  1. This continent is washed by the Pacific Ocean in the east, the Atlantic in the west, the Arctic Ocean in the North, the Indian Ocean in the South. It is the biggest continent in the world. The Urals separate it on two parts. What’s its name?

  1. This continent was discovered by Columbus but he didn’t know about it.


    1. This continent is the smallest. You can see koalas and kangaroos here. Some scientists call it a “big island”.


    1. This continent is the hottest in the world, it is famous for its pyramids and ancient history.

    2. This continent is washed by the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans. The biggest river is the Amazon.

    3. This continent is situated in the most south point of the Earth, is washed by the South Ocean, is covered by ice and you can meet penguins there.

P1: I live in Russia. It is situated in Europe and Asia. The official name of my country is the Russian Federation. Russia borders on many countries Norway, Finland, Ukraine, Belarus, China, Mongolia, Korea and Kazakhstan. Our country is washed by 12 seas and 3 oceans. The population is over 147 million people. Russian is the official language, but some people speak Tatar, Bashkir, Chuvash, Ukrainian and other languages. Moscow is the capital of the Russian Federation.


P2: Great Britain is situated on the British Isles. It is washed by the Atlantic Ocean, the Irish Sea and the North Sea. The population is over 59 million people. English is the official language, but some people speak Scottish, Welsh and Irish. The capital of the UK is London. Great Britain is famous for its universities: Cambridge and Oxford.

P3: China is situated in Asia. Its a beautiful country. This is the ancient and modern country. It was founded several thousand years ago. China is the third largest country in the world, next to Canada and Russia. The capital of China is Beijing. This country is famous for the Great Wall of China.


P4: Canada is the second largest country in the world. It is washed by the Arctic Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. The capital of Canada is Ottawa. In Canada there are people of many nationalities. There are two official languages in this country: English and French.

P5: Australia is the biggest island and the smallest continent in the world. It is washed by the Indian and the Pacific Oceans. Its a large country, but its population is only 18 million people. The capital of Australia is Canberra. English is the official language in Australia. This country is famous for its native animals: the kangaroo, the koala, the dingo and the emu.


P6: The USA is situated in North America It is washed by the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans. The official name of the country is the United States of America. The USA has the third largest population in the world. The capital of the USA is Washington. English is the official language, but Spanish is the second language in the USA.

Вывод. Conclusion of the lesson: Nowadays it’s absolutely important to be able at least to read English. The most educated people can speak English fluently.
