Конкурс “Belarus and Great Britain - Two Amazing Countries”

Цель: Содействовать привитию уважения к стране, изучаемого языка, развитию чувства патриотизма и любви к своей Родине.

Воспитательная цель: 1. Содействовать воспитанию толерантного отношения к традициям и обычаям страны изучаемого языка. 2. Способствовать воспитанию эстетических норм поведения (уважение к выступающему, к своему сопернику)

Оборудование: раздаточный материал (карточки с вопросами о Беларуси и Великобритании, кроссворды, карточки с надписями Belarus и Great Britain, карточки с пословицами), бумага, цветные карандаши, фломастеры, доска с таблицей результатов, географические карты двух государств, картинки с изображениями Великобритании и Беларуси, бусинки и 2 бокала для подсчета очков.

Предварительная подготовка: За несколько дней до проведения мероприятия ребятам предлагается выбрать название для своей команды, нарисовать эмблему.

Учителя готовят карточки с заданиями, вопросами, готовят доску и оформляют кабинет при помощи карт и картинок.

Ход мероприятия

Ведущий 1 (В. 1): Good morning, children. We’re glad to see you. Today we are going to have a competition between two teams. We want to know if you are good experts in the history of the UK and Belarus.

Ведущий 2 (В. 2): At first we want to introduce our judges…

В 1: At home you had to choose the names and draw the emblems of your teams. Our first task is the representation of your teams. The highest point for each task is 3. (Ребята представляют свои команды, демонстрируют эмблемы. Затем судьи выставляют им оценки, бросая бусинки в бокалы).

В 2: Our next task is to give as many assotiations connected with the UK and Belarus as possible. You’ll have just three minutes for this work. (Ведущие раздают детям карточки с надписями The UK, Belarus. Ребята выполняют задание. Судьи оглашают результаты). [Приложение 1]

В 1: The next task will show, who knows proverbs better. You’ll have to match two parts of the given proverbs and find their Russian equivalents in а minute. (Судьи выставляют оценки) [Приложение 2]

В 1: The next task will show who knows more about the history and traditions of the UK and Belarus. You should answer 10 questions. We’ll give you ten minutes for this work. (Ведущий дает вопросы командам. После выполнения задания, судьи выставляют оценки). [Приложение 3]

В 2: The next task is to solve the crossword. This work will show who knows more information about these two countries. We’ll give you ten minutes. (Дети разгадывают кроссворд. Судьи выставляют оценки). [Приложение 4]

В 1: This task will show which team is more creative. You should draw the Union Jack – the flag of the UK, our Belarusian flag and give your ideas why they look so. (Ребята представляют свои работы. Судьи оценивают и подводят итоги всего соревнования).
